I've worked with illegal aliens :P . I've seen things I can't explain (people beating animals, people beating people, non-alchol beer that I still drink on occasion), but not something that could be explained as alien. I definately believe other life exists outside of Earth.
Here is a funny camping story though. I was hiking with Ben, and I went outside of camp to go pee. I had my pants down and was squatting. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I thought for sure it was a cougar coming for me. I looked up at that point, pants still around my ankles, and saw- not a cougar- a mountain goat. A big, white, glowing mountain goat! It was walking by just up the hill from me. I whispered loudly, "BEN! BEN GET OVER HERE," as I pulled up my pants. I pointed to where the mountain goat had been. We climbed up to try to see where it could have gone. We looked up an down. There was not a big bunch of trees at that high of elevation, so we could see pretty far in any direction. No mountain goat. Whatsoever. What made it super strange was that this all happened in 10 seconds or less. It disappeared. Now, I know animals have an uncanny ability to do that, but I just had no idea. The glowing part is what gets me. It totally could have been the sun shining off of the goat's hair, but nothing else was being lit up like that. We spent the next five minutes looking around. We were really quiet. I don't know. It was a cool experience. Maybe not an alien experience- but definately mysterious.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03392539387960919650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544646640914466824.post-9335288025622002442010-05-07T12:15:24.846-07:002010-05-07T12:15:24.846-07:00In my head, the jury's still out re: presence/...In my head, the jury's still out re: presence/absence of aliens. But I'll agree with you that it's a REALLY big universe to have us be the only form of intelligent life.

It sounds to me like the aliens may be following you and M - honestly, I haven't had a single alien-like experience and I'm a little jealous. ;) Although, apparently, there's a precedent for Oregon alien sightings: http://ufos.about.com/od/visualproofphotosvideo/ig/Best-UFO-Photographs/1950paultrent-jpg.htm

Actually, it seems like Oregon may be a fairly active alien sighting place: http://www.corvalliscommunitypages.com/Americas/US/Oregon/corvallis/aliensall.htm . So don't worry, you're not alone! :)

Maybe we'll be so blessed during Summer Camp 2010?Linds and Dannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05866326902884901820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544646640914466824.post-25400643036370498762010-04-11T18:12:31.778-07:002010-04-11T18:12:31.778-07:00hahahaha First off, I totally think there are alie...hahahaha First off, I totally think there are aliens out there (unexplained Moon Mountain experience a couple of months ago - need I say more?!). Secondly, I am a bit nervous to go to Summer Camp 2010 with you...I might need to pack some Dramamine ;-pK Chaphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16392336816890953685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544646640914466824.post-57636219880466539502010-04-08T09:28:15.651-07:002010-04-08T09:28:15.651-07:00Wow... I knew that your next post would be interesting, to say the least, but I was shocked with this one.

I don't really believe one way or the other. Whatever is out there (if anything) is out there. Maybe the lack of unexplainable experiences keeps me from having a say on the subject.

Great post though... keep it coming! and thanks for the shocker. :)Snoochhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10457725977039896343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544646640914466824.post-48675678463966620072010-04-07T18:50:12.334-07:002010-04-07T18:50:12.334-07:00hahaha I've really missed your blogs! =) I c...hahaha I've really missed your blogs! =) I completely agree - I think it would be a little self-centered of us here on Earth to assume aliens don't exist. However, I don't have any cool stories like you do to back up my point. =) I loved reading yours though!!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09356404626925876200noreply@blogger.com
